This is Thongtong Osoth's aromatic Plai ointment, built on Plai (Zingiber montanum), the warming ginger relative at the heart of Thai massage. The ointment melts on contact with skin and carries a bright herbal aroma, so it works as much for the scent as for the rub. The 50 g jar is the handy size to keep in a bag or a desk drawer.
